TENG-CAD

FEM simulation using COMSOL of the diagonal mode attached electrode TENG is time-consuming especially as the dimensions of the harvester increase. To provide an alternative, TENG-CAD tool is developed based on the verified full analytical model with average errors of 5%, 4.3% and 0.88% for the open circuit voltage, short circuit charge and capacitance, respectively. TENG-CAD provides a GUI to facilitate the future design of the TENG harvesters for users with less complexity and high speed as compared with COMSOL.
